Flute Music

Me and my bass ready for a Halloween concert

When the pandemic shutdown hit and I couldn’t play live music in a group, I began recording flute duets and quartets as an outlet. Once I acquired a bass flute, I could start performing arrangements for flute choir—yes, flute choirs are a thing!—and I put some of those up on my YouTube channel. You can check out the playlist here. It includes a demo that shows the differences between C flute, alto flute, and bass flute.

While my library contains quite a few pieces written specifically for flute choir, I also have several that are transcriptions of orchestral music. Often I would hear something on the radio and think it might sound cool for flute, but when I searched for an arrangement, I wouldn’t be able to find one. That’s when I started to create my own arrangements.

I discovered it’s actually pretty simple to market your arrangements with the big sheet music aggregators, so I’m working on making them available. Check back here often to see if I’ve updated the list! (And yes, I’m obsessed with ’70s-era Genesis. I know.)

If you purchase an arrangement and would like a part transcribed for an instrument not included in the score (for a very small fee!), send me a message via my Contact page.
